On Wednesday 18 November 2020, the SA Premier announced an emergency directive of a six-day lockdown period to contain the current COVID cluster in South Australia. On midnight Saturday 21 November, South Australia came out of hard lockdown, three days early.
The Premier and Chief Public Health Officer are recommending that we continue to exercise significant caution in relation to the Parafield cluster. Lighthouse Disability’s Incident Command Team continues to meet regularly to ensure our clients, families and staff are safe and well. The Team will ensure staff are provided with the necessary guidance and support to maintain high quality support services to clients.
We are following the advice from SA Health and the Communicable Diseases Control Branch, and will continue to monitor any changes in restrictions and adjust how we support Lighthouse Disability clients and staff accordingly.
